Square Guy is a physics-driven puzzle action game where movement is your weapon. Instead of walking or jumping, you shoot projectiles to propel yourself in the opposite direction—mastering recoil, momentum, and precision to survive deadly levels.
Navigate tight, single-screen challenges filled with traps, enemies, and interactive elements. Every shot matters—manage your limited ammo, time your moves carefully, and use the environment to your advantage. Bounce shots off walls, trigger chain reactions, and experiment your way to the goal.
Built around fast iteration and satisfying movement, the game encourages players to test, adjust, and refine their solutions until they succeed.
Featuring a clean, geometric visual style with high-contrast colors and snappy feedback, Square Guy focuses on clarity, responsiveness, and skill-based gameplay.
This game was created in 48 hours for a game jam based on the theme “Monocontrol”.
